Catherine G. Dieffenbach, M.D. joined IGO Medical Group in September 2023. Dr. Dieffenbach recieved her medical degree at University of California, San Diego. She also completed an internship year in General Surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard in Boston, followed by and OBGYN residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard in Boston. Dr. Dieffenbach is a La Jolla native and couldn’t wait to return home after almost 10 years in Boston, to join IGO and raise her family. Dr. Dieffenbach's private practice specializes in comprehensive healthcare for women including obstetrics, general gynecology, menopause and gynecologic surgery. She has a particular interest in preventative medicine and contraception. She is fluent in Spanish. San Diego locals looking for a great OBGYN - we highly recommend Cat!
